Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 2 years of event coordination experience; substitution allowed.
• Prior event staffing or customer service experience.
• Must be available to work varying schedules with evenings and weekend hours.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Minimum two years' customer service experience with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site staff during Bell Museum after-hours rental events, primarily evenings and weekends.
• Interact with clients and guests to ensure smooth event execution with excellent customer service.
• Assist with event setups, teardowns, and room changes per floor plans.
• Proactively maintain a clean and safe environment for guests.
• Coordinate arrival and guidance of event vendors while upholding museum policies.
• Act as a point of contact for student staff during after-hours events.
• Help preserve museum integrity during and after events.
• Maintain event notes, calendars, data entry, and email communications.
