Job summary

Minnesota Children's Museum in Saint Paul, MN seeks a part-time Visitor Assistant to deliver excellent customer service, monitor exhibits, and support visitors throughout the museum and outdoor spaces. You’ll join a team focused on education, engagement, and safety, with shifts that include weekdays, some Fridays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience.
• Experience working or volunteering with children in an educational or recreational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors while maintaining a safe environment.
• Ensure exhibits are ready for visitor use.
• Support visitor operations and needs through the museum including the outdoor spaces like the terrace and backyard.
• Support division initiatives including service, education, and sales programs.
• Attend and participate in daily opening meetings, department meetings, trainings, and other meetings as scheduled.
