Job summary

National Geographic Society seeks a Specialist of Museum Education to advance MOE educational programs and Inspire educators and learners of all ages. The role partners with MOE and ECE teams to design activities, resources, and experiences that amplify field exploration.

You will support training for staff, contribute to interpretive materials, and help deliver programs for varied audiences at the MOE and MOE Learning Launchpad.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Geography, Museum Studies, Science, or related field or equivalent experience in informal education.
  • Experience in museum education or related public programming roles.
  • Ability to work with diverse age groups and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and refine MOE educational programs and workshops.
  • Plan age-appropriate, low-production activities and takeaways for Educators and learners.
  • Collaborate with MOE teams to train museum staff and improve visitor experiences.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Geography, Museum Studies, Science, Social Science or equivalent work experience in informal education
