Zusammenfassung

The Asian Art Museum is seeking a Manager of Education to lead curricular design and the delivery of innovative educational experiences. The role oversees staff, coordinates cross‑department projects, and aligns programs with standards and pedagogy.

You will collaborate with Digital and Audience Engagement to develop materials and events, support school tours, and guide public programs that connect audiences with Asian and Asian American art and culture.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with 3–5 years in museum education.
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers.
• Strong knowledge of Asian/Asian American art and related pedagogy.
• Experience advancing diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop adult and family learning curricula and new initiatives.
• Align programs to state/local standards and current pedagogy.
• Coordinate tours, online experiences, and gallery-based programs.
• Train docents, storytellers, and gallery guides.
• Support school tours and activities as needed.
• Collaborate with Digital and Audience Engagement on materials.
