Harvard Art Museums seeks three Museum Attendants to join its Security team. You will be on front-line with visitors, monitor galleries, enforce museum rules, and assist during emergencies with calm, decisive action.

You must have at least three years of customer service experience, the ability to patrol multi-story spaces, and clear English communication. Uniforms are provided and training includes CPR/First Aid.

Qualificações

• Minimum three years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to patrol multi-story museum building for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate in English clearly via speech and hearing, with or without corrective devices.
• Must be able to lift and use a 10 lbs. fire extinguisher after being trained.
• CPR and/or first aid training desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provides protection of visitors, staff, and collections.
• Patrols galleries and responds to object alarms.
• Maintains surveillance to prevent damage to objects on display.
• Assists visitors and colleagues, answers questions and gives directions.
• Enforces museum policies related to conduct and access control.
