You will work with hospitals and ambulatory centers, arrange pre-operative tests, and ensure orders and documentation are handled precisely with patients, physicians, staff, and OR teams.

The role requires 2+ years in healthcare, a High School Diploma, strong MS Office skills, and EPIC experience.

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in a health care environment.
High School Diploma required.
Strong interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations.
Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active, accurate surgery schedule for providers and service lines.
Coordinate surgeries with hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Schedule and coordinate pre-operative testing.
Communicate surgery orders and collect necessary documentation.
Interact with patients, families, physicians, staff, and operating rooms.
Provide administrative support.
Resolve routine and complex customer problems and direct customers to address specific questions.
Plan and organize a diversified workload using independent judgment.
Communicate with clinical staff to meet customer and department needs and maximize utilization.
