Job summary

A leading IT support service provider is seeking a professional with robust knowledge in Murex functionalities to provide Back Office support and troubleshoot issues. You will effectively communicate with users, monitor support tickets, and train internal staff on diagnosing similar issues. Qualifications

• Robust knowledge in achieving FO/MO/BO functionalities.
• Ability to provide Back Office support including accounting and workflow.
• Qualifications in Front Office deal entry and pretrade rules understanding.
• Experience with Middle Office VAR and RISK management.
• Skilled in creating/editing simulation views/layouts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Murex support tickets and escalate as necessary.
• Troubleshoot end-user issues effectively.
• Train internal staff on diagnosing Murex issues.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal troubleshooting guides

Job description

Robust knowledge in the following areas of Murex:

• FO/MO/BO functionalities
• Back Office Support – OSP, workflow, payments, accounting, confirmations
• Front office – Deal entry, simulation, pricing, pretrade rules, understanding of trading products
• Middle Office – VAR, RISK
• Creating/editing simulation views/layouts
• Adding/editing typologies (structures)
• Importing test cases/configuration changes
• End of Day (EOD) Processing.
• Monitor Murex based support tickets, provide support with all end-user issues, escalate issues to the support manager as needed.
• Communicate effectively in non-technical terms with end users to troubleshoot issues and bring to resolution.
• Ability to not only diagnose Murex issues but effectively train internal support staff on how to diagnose similar issues going forward.
• Contribute to customer and support analyst “how to” documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal troubleshooting guides.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under time constraints.
