Job summary

DXC Luxoft UAE is seeking an experienced Environment Support Consultant to manage Murex environments including EOD and related infrastructure across cloud and on‑premises. The role supports Prod and non‑prod environments and interfaces with business users and IT teams.

The candidate will configure processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures, perform routine housekeeping, and handle on‑demand reports. Strong knowledge of Murex modules and ITIL practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Murex with 2–5 years of hands-on experience.
• Environment management in On-Prem and Cloud environments.
• Experience with Murex EOD, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Understanding of Murex modules (MXML/MLC/Realtime) and integrations.
• Experience with Murex Reporting (Feeder/batch/extractions).
• Hands on upgrades and CI/CD workflow familiarity.
• Basic ITIL knowledge and incident/service management exposure.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure and Unix/Python scripting.
• Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL and monitoring tools.
• Audit and compliance handling for Murex environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Murex environments across cloud and on‑premises.
• Support EOD processing, batches, and related infrastructure.
• Design and implement new batches per requirements.
• Configure processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures.
• Perform daily/monthly housekeeping and ad hoc reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and tune EOD performance and Murex UI workflows.
• Collaborate with DBAs to resolve DB performance issues.
• Address vulnerabilities and monitor security for the application.
• Liaise with IT/service teams and business users daily.

One of our client in UAE is looking for an Environment Support experienced Consultant to manage Murex Environments, EOD, and related infrastructure on multiple environments to support Prod and Non-prod environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, and MLC batches.
• Assist the service delivery team with the design and implementation of new batches according to new requirements.
• Configuring the processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures for various modules and debugging the issues related to it.
• Performing/Monitoring daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting, Market Data, etc.
• Perform ad hoc operational requests such as generating of on demand reports, file transfer, and housekeeping activities.
• Liaise with vendor to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues. Monitor and tune the performance of overall EOD.
• Perform sanity checks in Murex UI such as workflows, real-time data, etc.
• Work with DBA`s to troubleshoot performance issues with DB that impact the EOD batches, Extract Murex reports batches/LRB, and share with users.
• Analyse the Vulnerabilities raised on the application and infrastructure and remediate them.
• Manage Murex Environments hosted on Cloud (AWS).
• It's a techno-functional role and on a day-to-day basis, will interact with business users.

SKILLS

Must have

• Expertise in Murex Application on Technology with 2 to 5 years of experience
• Very good exposure in Environment Management using On-Prem and Cloud Based environments
• Must have experience in Murex EOD , Troubleshooting and Optimization Techniques
• Must have understanding of various modules of Murex ( MXML/MLC/Realtime Etc.) and Integration
• Must have understanding of Murex Reporting ( Feeder/batch of feeder/Extractions etc. )
• Hands on experience in Murex Major and Minor Upgrades
• Familiar with change and release management process and CI/CD workflows and tooling
• Familiar with Incident/Service/problem Management (ITIL Certification is plus)
• Hands on Cloud technology (AWS or Azure)
• Hands on expertise in Unix Shell Scripting or Python
• Understanding of SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in Managing the Audit related to Murex Application
• Experience in Monitoring solution (APPD/Splunk etc.)
• Experience in scheduling tools like Control-M /Cron etc.

Nice to have

• Datamart skills is an advantage
• Understanding of AI (Generative /Agentic) is good to have
