Position : Municipality Growth Manager

Location : Lombard, IL - Remote

Position Purpose :

Power Wellness is the nation’s largest management company in the medical fitness industry. Founded in 1996, we have managed over 50 fitness centers for healthcare systems, academic institutions, community foundations and municipalities. Today, Power Wellness serves over 120,000 customers, managing 5 million visits nationwide. Our mission is to improve life by delivering excellence in health, fitness, and wellness management.

The Manager of Municipality Growth plays a pivotal role in cultivating relationships with prospective municipal entities, including townships, villages and states. Their primary objective is to strategically position Power Wellness as the premier provider of continuous management services and medical integration solutions for their recreation, wellness, community-based fitness centers. Moreover, this role entails supporting Power Wellness' technology sales initiatives and refining its market positioning as a leading fitness application provider in the fitness industry. By leveraging their expertise, the Manager of municipality Growth aims to secure management agreements with at least 2 new clients annually, in addition to expanding the company's customer base in the technology sector.

  • Understand breadth and depth of company’s resources and experience.
  • Research prospective clients and focus on highest probable and profitable opportunities.
  • Proactively contact prospective clients. Strategically align needs and company solutions.
  • Prepare / lead prospect presentations, with CRO and Business Development Manager support.
  • Help with preparation of responses to RFQs and RFPs, incl strategy, content and edits.
  • Facilitate Introductions and prospect conversations for new technology sales.
  • Maintain “casual” contact with nurtured clients for potential feedback and new relationships.
  • Proactively utilize CRM system and participate, via Teams, in scheduled Growth team meetings.
  • Participate in Company’s HIPAA, sexual harassment and other mandatory training.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor according to Employee Behavior Standards.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company’s Mission and Core Values

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Marketing, Communications, Business or related subject.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in related fitness or hospitality management sales.
  • Experience selling into parks & recreation entities, townships, village communities, and state-run organizations.
  • Ability to cultivate trusted prospect relationships.
  • Ability to strategically communicate company strengths based on prospect position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
  • Also, the ability to collaborate with internal team members.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
