Job description

We are SAMANSA, a Japan-based streaming platform specializing in award-winning short films from around the world. After gaining strong traction in Japan, we're now ready to bring our unique cinematic experience to the US.

We’re looking for a bilingual or culturally fluent product/growth manager to help us localize, test, and grow SAMANSA in the US market.

[What You'll Do]

1. Act as the bridge between US users and the Japan-based product team.
2. Analyze user behavior, onboarding flow, and churn to propose improvements.
3. Help localize landing pages, signup screens, and push notifications.
4. Coordinate A/B tests and lightweight experiments.
5. Collaborate with freelance designers, developers, and marketers.
6. Conduct informal user research (surveys, interviews, UX recordings).

[Requirements]

1. Fluent in English, and familiar with Japanese culture (Japanese language skills are a plus).
2. 3+ years experience in product management or growth roles (startup experience preferred).
3. Strong understanding of digital consumer products (SaaS, D2C, or mobile apps).
4. Comfortable working independently, remotely, and in low-resource environments.
5. Bonus: experience in media, streaming, or entertainment technology.
