Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multi-line insurance underwriting experience.
• Professional designations or progress toward them; or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite submissions within authority and document underwriting decisions.
• Determine coverage, terms, conditions, and pricing for new business per guidelines.
• Coordinate and review Loss Control services for members and document analysis.
• Meet with municipal officials to discuss MMA Risk Management programs and present proposals.
• Maintain awareness of insurance trends and industry developments.
• Support Member Services in prospecting, data collection, and MMA Annual Convention.
• Assist with underwriting projects and rate reviews.
• Help members obtain insurance solutions through broker partnerships.
