Job summary

Fehr Graham in Aurora, IL is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to lead the planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects for communities. You’ll coordinate with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license (or eligibility within the first year), with 8–12 years of municipal engineering and project management experience, plus strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of municipal engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and build relationships.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Oversee permitting, regulatory coordination and quality assurance reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
