Job summary

Fehr Graham is hiring a Municipal Project Manager to lead the planning, design and delivery of critical municipal infrastructure projects in the Aurora, IL area. You will coordinate with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure projects meet scope, schedule and budget with high quality results.

The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain within one year) and 8–12 years of relevant municipal engineering and project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in municipal engineering and project management.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects (water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and build strong client relationships.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Oversee permitting, regulatory coordination and quality assurance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities with municipal clients.
