Qualifications

  • This is a partial listing of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
  • Knowledge of Microstation and CAD-based applications used for permit submittal.
  • Skilled in operating a computer and software; effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews permit applications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicates with City employees, vendors, customers, and external stakeholders about status and procedures.
  • Prepares, delivers and/or picks up additional permit applications for utilities or other services.
  • Monitors permit duration and submits extension requests as needed.
  • Coordinate and secure the payment method to accompany additional permit applications.
  • Maintain network with other cities, public works departments, and governmental agencies related to permit applications.
  • Reviews monthly statistics and data and prepares operating reports.
  • Performs other duties related to permit requests and related administrative tasks.
