Job summary

Indy is seeking a dependable labor maintenance worker for the DPW Operations Maintenance Section. You will assist with asphalt patching, crack sealing, concrete work, playground equipment repair, grounds keeping, and snow removal as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and may involve lifting over 25 pounds. A valid Indiana driver’s license is preferred. Work is outdoors and indoors with varying weather; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general labor maintenance skills for municipal tasks.
• Assist with asphalt patching, crack sealing, concrete work, playground repairs, grounds keeping, and related duties.
• Assist with snow removal functions.
• Clean and wash equipment as needed.
• Operate small motorized equipment.
• Assist with daily care and maintenance of tools and supplies.
• This list may be expanded by management as needed.
