Job summary

Indy is seeking a maintenance worker to support DPW Parks, Streets, and Traffic Maintenance. The role includes snow plowing, mowing, and using equipment such as a snow plow, salt spreader, and lawn mower.

You will assist other crews, perform minor concrete work, patch chuckholes, and help with traffic controls at worksites. Outdoor work with varying weather is expected, and CDL/experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• CDL license preferred; Class B license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow and equipment for street and park maintenance.
• Perform mowing, debris removal, patching, and basic concrete work.
• Maintain daily records of work and supplies used.
• Assist other crews and ensure safety at all times.
