Job summary

Facility Contract Services seeks an IT Technician to maintain the City of Pembroke Pines Police Department's computer systems. You will install software, keep antivirus up to date, and ensure IT infrastructure runs smoothly within the city environment.

The role requires a CS/IT degree with 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with Windows XP/7, MS Office, and Track-IT, plus strong communication skills. Expect a demanding, desk-based, team-oriented workplace in Pembroke Pines, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in CS/IT with 2 years of hardware/software experience.
• Experience with Windows XP/7 and MS Office 2007+ and related software.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and make software available to users.
• Ensure antivirus software is installed and updated on all PCs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues; repair and upgrade PCs.
• Liaise with external support to resolve faults quickly.
• Provide technical support via remote tools and Windows administration.
• Communicate effectively with staff and document requests in Track-IT.
