Village of Oswego is seeking an accomplished Finance Director to shape the financial future of a growing community. You’ll guide financial decisions, support long-term priorities, and maintain sound practices that help Oswego thrive, while advising Village leadership on strategic priorities.

The role requires a CPA or CPFO/CGFO is preferred, with a strong background in municipal finance, budgeting, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Seven years of progressively responsible municipal finance experience.
• Three years supervisory experience.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.”

• Serve as the Village’s Finance Director and provide strategic financial guidance to Village leadership.
• Ensure responsible stewardship of public resources and sound financial practices to support Oswego’s growth.
