The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a Facilities Manager (at-will) to oversee the operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, infrastructure, and related systems including security, fire protection, elevators, and snow removal. You will develop budgets, forecast funding, supervise staff, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and municipal policies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
• Six years of full-time professional facility maintenance operations experience.
• Two years of administrator and/or supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, infrastructure, snow removal, security systems, fire suppression and detection systems, and elevators.
• Analyze costs to replace or repair equipment; make recommendations as appropriate.
• Develop and administer the annual budget; forecast funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement adjustments.
• Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs; administer policies and procedures.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
• Select, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel; provide and/or coordinate staff training; implement discipline and termination procedures.
