Job summary

Colorado Springs School District 11 is seeking a Generalist I: Operations for the Physical Facilities team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role reports to the Director of Facilities and is a 1.0 FTE position with flexible days per year.

The candidate will lead complex projects, develop processes, analyze data, and provide training to staff while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree OR 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Required: Valid driver’s license and valid CDL License (Class B).
• Preferred: Advanced industry related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects and cross-functional workstreams.
• Serve as a subject-matter resource on policies and procedures.
• Resolve non-routine issues and recommend solutions to leadership.
• Develop, refine, and document processes and workflows.
• Analyze data and provide insights to leadership decisions.
• Provide training and coaching to staff.
• Support audits and continuous improvement efforts.
