Job summary

The Salvation Army Colorado Springs Corps seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and appearance of properties, vehicles, and grounds. You will supervise maintenance staff, volunteers, contractors, and vendors to ensure facilities are safe, clean, efficient, and compliant.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a 40-hour workweek, on-call as needed. Benefits include health/vision/dental, life and disability insurance, vacation, sick leave, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years in facilities maintenance, property management, or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff, volunteers, contractors, and vendors to keep facilities maintained safely and cost-effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties and equipment and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Coordinate janitorial, maintenance, landscaping, and facility improvement projects.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and manage vehicle records and inspections.
• Assist in budgeting for facility-related expenses and report to the property committee.
