Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Department Manager to lead our Governmental/Municipal team in Raleigh, NC. This role requires a seasoned leader to grow our Governmental/Municipal business in the region and deliver project leadership across public infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; P.E. license preferred.
Minimum 8 years in civil/municipal engineering with public infrastructure focus.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Ability to manage clients and develop new business.
Excellent collaboration and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve financial and growth goals for the discipline.
Oversee productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work.
Develop and lead marketing and business development strategies with marketing/BD teams.
Lead production team and optimize staffing utilization.
Monitor budgets, billing, and collections; ensure utilization goals.
Mentor staff, manage performance, and support promotions.
Collaborate with other firms and manage subconsultant contracts.
Serve as project manager for assigned projects and ensure scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
