Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Department Manager in Phoenix to lead the Municipal Engineering team and grow the Municipal/Governmental business in the region. You will provide strategic direction, oversee budgets and staffing, and collaborate with marketing to win opportunities.

The role requires a P.E. license and 8+ years in civil/municipal engineering, with strong leadership and client-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 8+ years of civil/municipal engineering with capital improvements focus.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve financial and growth goals for the discipline.
• Ensure productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work.
• Develop and lead marketing and business development for the discipline.
• Manage budgets, billing, and collections; monitor workload and resource utilization.
• Mentor staff, manage performance, and coordinate with subconsultants.
