The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 8+ years in municipal project design, and a PE license. AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency is preferred, and CFMs are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years in municipal engineering/capital project design.
• PE license required.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
• CFM certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal engineering design for capital improvement projects.
• Prepare construction plans, specs, bid documents, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate public work issues in municipalities.
• Address resident inquiries with professionalism.
• Manage projects within deadlines and budget.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and design teams.
• Review land development ordinances and regulations.
• Site investigation and due diligence.
• Stormwater design knowledge and regulations.
• Ensure value engineering through earthwork analysis.
