Job summary

The City of Conroe seeks an experienced attorney to represent governmental entities on municipal procurement, contracts, Public Information Act matters, planning and development, and related legal items. You will prepare, track and analyze contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other instruments while advising the City Council, staff and boards.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Three years or more of progressively responsible municipal law experience.
• Membership in the State Bar of Texas; ability to obtain license before federal court.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to City Council, staff, and boards; attend evening meetings.
