Job summary

WSB in Minnesota is seeking a Civil Designer to develop civil engineering designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer. The role focuses on land development, site design, renewables, and municipal projects, using Civil 3D to produce accurate construction documents.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in civil engineering or related field, a background in civil design, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams while traveling to project sites as

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in civil design and engineering.
Proficiency in Civil 3D design software is required.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop civil engineering designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
Prepare and revise construction documents for land development, site design, renewables and municipal projects.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Coordinate with internal disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy across deliverables.
Perform quality control reviews to ensure plans and specifications are complete, accurate, and constructible.
Support project managers with conceptual, preliminary, and final design efforts, including cost estimates and proposals.
Participate in client and team meetings to support project delivery and address technical questions.
