Job summary

WHKS & Co is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer in Minnesota to contribute to municipal, transportation, water, wastewater, site development, and other infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers to prepare design calculations, reports, and plans, gaining exposure to Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in civil design.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of MnDOT specifications and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, reports, and plans for municipal projects (sanitary and storm sewer, roadway, drainage, water and wastewater).
• Develop 2D and 3D models using Civil 3D and/or Bentley CONNECT OpenRoads Designer.
• Assist with data collection at project sites, technical report writing, quantity calculations, and design calculations.
• Assist with public information meetings and construction observation (testing, reports, material sources).
