Job summary

WSB is seeking an Engineering Specialist / CAD Technician to join our growing team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will assist with civil design under a licensed engineer and develop construction documents for municipal projects.

The role requires CAD proficiency (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bentley, ArcGIS) and a track record of detail-oriented design, collaboration across disciplines, and ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in civil design or engineering.
• Experience with the City of Tulsa is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD design software (Civil 3D preferred or similar tools).
• Familiarity with design platforms such as AutoCAD, Bentley, ArcGIS.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
• Prepare and revise technical drawings and construction documents for municipal projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy across project deliverables.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure plans and specifications are complete, accurate, and constructible.
• Support project managers with conceptual, preliminary, and final design efforts, including cost estimates and proposals.
• Participate in client and team meetings to support project delivery and address technical questions.
