Job summary

Missouri Department of Natural Resources is seeking a maintenance technician for Montauk State Park in Salem, MO. You will operate and repair water and wastewater systems, and perform semi-skilled maintenance across multiple trades within park facilities.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of on-the-job training/experience in trade areas (education may be substituted).
• Proven skills across building, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering or mechanical trades.
• Must complete required licenses/certifications within six months if not possessed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair park water and wastewater systems.
• Perform semi-skilled work in alteration, maintenance, and repair of state buildings and facilities.
• Research, estimate, and procure bids or materials for projects.
• Work across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, concrete, painting, and mechanical trades.
• Clean park buildings, restrooms, campsites, and grounds regularly.
• Oversee a maintenance crew as needed and collaborate with supervisors.
