Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking an entry-level Maintenance and Grounds Technician to support the Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction. You will participate in a variety of grounds maintenance and trades tasks across state buildings and facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on work with materials and equipment. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely response to

Qualifications

Prior experience and general knowledge of light trades work; general maintenance and repairs.
Ability to operate and maintain basic facilities equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

Perform manual labor in maintenance and grounds tasks including receiving, handling, transportation, and storage of materials.
Maintain grounds for multiple state facilities through horticultural care and debris removal.
Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall repairs, and painting.
Execute work orders with accuracy and timeliness; follow safety guidelines.
Provide after-hours coverage and travel to other facilities as needed for emergencies.
