Job summary

Ackermann Group in Florence, Kentucky, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician 3 to handle mechanical, structural, and utility upkeep of our properties. You will troubleshoot and repair a broad range of systems, manage contractor services, and support resident requests with a strong customer-service mindset.

The ideal candidate has EPA Type I & II certification, 1+ year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I & II certification required.
• Broad maintenance knowledge across trades.
• Customer service focus with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with insurance proof.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior areas and perform light janitorial tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC and painting as needed.
• Schedule unit turnovers with approved contractors and manage parts inventory.
• Address resident service requests and participate in snow removal.
• Respond to after-hour maintenance calls and document activities using Ackermann software.
