Uptown Rental Properties in Florence, KY is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to service our apartment communities and keep residents satisfied.

You’ll troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting issues, complete make-readies, and manage work orders using an iPhone-based system. We value hands-on contributors who can work independently, communicate professionally, and stay organized in an on-site role with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance or make-ready experience preferred.
• Comfort with hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and determine when to escalate.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and general repairs across Uptown properties
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other issues
• Complete apartment turns, make-readies, and property upkeep
• Diagnose problems and pursue practical, lasting solutions
• Manage and update work orders using an iPhone-based system
• Communicate professionally with residents about repairs, progress
• Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and other technicians
• Identify issues requiring more advanced expertise
• Help maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and organized work areas
• Respond to unexpected maintenance needs and shifting priorities
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation about one week per month
