Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support our Fort Campbell, KY housing community. You will perform building, grounds, and utility maintenance across rental units and common spaces in a federal facility environment.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, appliance installation, and on-call repairs, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely updates to work orders. A REAL ID compliant license is required for access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years relevant maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills.
• Own basic tools and equipment to perform daily duties.
• Basic computer/tablet literacy.
• Read and write in English to follow instructions.
• Plan, organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and complete maintenance requests.
• Transport, install and connect appliances and equipment.
• Move supplies using wheelbarrows or hand trucks.
• Repair and fabricate window/door screens and frames.
• Operate power tools and perform on-site repairs.
• Update work orders with time, materials, and notes.
• Maintain vehicle and inventory as prescribed.
• Provide timely, accurate paperwork and reports.
