Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a maintenance technician to deliver proactive care for commercial properties in the Lakewood area. The role covers preventive maintenance, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, using mobile tools to manage work orders and service reports.

A valid driver’s license and applicable certifications are required. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of general maintenance experience, a HS diploma or higher, and a background in commercial services.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Background in commercial services highly preferred.
• HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
• Performs minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks within state law.
• Maintains and inspects facilities and equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Uses handheld devices and business systems to update work orders and reports.
