Commercial Maintenance Technician

EMCOR Group, Inc. seeks a dedicated Commercial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, corrections, and client interactions across a broad portfolio of 1+ billion square feet of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs per work order requirements, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and roofing tasks.
• Access and complete work orders, submit service reports and quality inspection images, and log timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card usage.
• Maintain timely and consistent communication with customers and internal support teams, ensuring positive customer satisfaction.
• Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks and provide estimates for larger onsite projects.
• Participate in required safety and compliance training, attend weekly safety meetings, and obtain EFS‑required safety training.
• Execute additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred degree, certification, or experience in landscaping, trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), or specialty floor care.
• Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and applicable certifications or licenses required for the role.
