Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC in Lakeland, GA is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform building maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, reading blueprints, operating building automation systems, and mentoring other technicians. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside in all weather.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic and reliability.
• Computer proficient and able to interact with clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, furnaces, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to keep machines and building systems in good condition.
• Operates plant equipment and building automation systems.
• Maintains tools, inventory and safety practices.
• Trains other technicians and provides mentorship.
