Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking an experienced Specialized Trades Worker to support building, equipment, maintenance and trades projects across multiple facilities. You will contribute your diverse background and hands-on expertise to complete projects aligned with objectives and the division’s mission.

This role offers potential for long-term growth within the OA-FMDC Operations Team, with emphasis on safety, collaboration, and reliable service to state facilities and the public.

Qualifications

• Prioritize excellent customer service for diverse stakeholders across internal teams, agencies and the public.
• Complete skilled work within one or more specialized trade areas.
• Apply trade knowledge to troubleshoot, repair and remediation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, concrete, welding, painting and related trades work.
• Handle heavy lifting and operate machinery and equipment as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide after-hours coverage when required.
• Follow OA-FMDC safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Communicate clearly, plan projects, and manage time effectively.
