Job summary

Construction/Maintenance Techn Agency 805 DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION SERVICES in Sulphur, OK seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform building trades and maintenance on state property, including construction/renovation of buildings and upkeep of plumbing, HVAC, electrical and other systems.

Two years of building trades experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required; ASL skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of building trades experience or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• ASL skills preferred for communication with >general population<.

Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry work in building renovations.
• Erects scaffolds, sheds, forms, fences and other structures.
• Maintains plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Operates maintenance equipment and tools used in construction and grounds.
• Installs and maintains locks and security devices.
