Job summary

Pinnacle Living is seeking a full-time skilled tradesperson in a Richmond community to maintain and repair facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. The role requires independent work, on-call coverage, and a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of maintenance experience, and a valid Virginia driver’s license. The position includes benefits and on-site responsibilities in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High-school education or GED equivalency required.
• Vo-tech training or specialized training courses in associated fields preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair required.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and meet Pinnacle Living’s risk management requirements to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• As assigned by management or by work order -- installs, maintains, or repairs a wide variety of building features such as doors, locks, windows, fixtures etc.
• Performs duties requiring comprehensive mastery of a specific trade (HVAC, electrician, plumber, etc.) and assists in preventive maintenance.
• Assists other maintenance team to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports repair needs to supervisor.
• Serves as on-call maintenance person to cover after hours emergencies.
