Job summary

Pinnacle Living in Richmond, VA, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems in a senior living community. The role requires on-site work hours, on-call coverage, and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates should have at least three years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Qualifications

High-school education or GED equivalency required.
Vo-tech training or specialized training courses in associated fields preferred.
Minimum three years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair required.
Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and meet Pinnacle Living’s risk management requirements to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, or repair building features per work orders and department policies.
Perform trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and support preventive maintenance and recordkeeping.
Assist other maintenance staff to complete campus repairs in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot equipment and report repair needs to supervisor.
Serve as on-call maintenance person during designated periods.
Attend safety meetings and trainings as assigned.
Follow safety procedures and suggest improvements for operation and safety.
May assist with landscape maintenance and snow removal.
