Job summary

universitypartners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, complete service requests, and support unit turns while maintaining clean, safe community spaces and delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry skills, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Weekend and on-call shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and basic construction.
• Customer service oriented with good communication and organization skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and routine service requests promptly, following a 24-hour response standard.
• Perform general repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Inspect and maintain grounds, common areas, vacant units, models, amenities, and maintenance spaces.
• Assist with unit turns, including inspections, repairs, lock changes, vendor coordination, punch work, and checklists.
