Job summary

Executive Hotel Management in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced line cook to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The role requires precise execution of guest orders while following standard recipes, at multiple stations, including poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying.

You will work with a team to maintain efficiency, communicate clearly, and uphold food safety and storage standards. The position offers $16–$18 per hour in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish a system of food stations and stock them with ingredients for the shift.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates.
• Clean and sanitize all workstations and equipment per health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy to ensure quality.
• Cook food orders at stations following established recipes and presentation standards.
