Job summary

Carl Buddig and Company in Montgomery, IL is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator/Material Handler to perform duties safely and accurately in a high-speed packaging environment.

You will operate forklift, deliver and wrap pallets, maintain GMPs, and support packaging lines while meeting USDA guidelines. Must be 18+, legally work in the U.S.; HS diploma preferred; overtime and 40+ hours weekly required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience operating a Stand-up Forklift preferred. Two or more years of related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift to move meat baskets and pallets.
• Scan and wrap pallets and deliver to packaging areas using forklift.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and comply with GMPs.
• Report food safety issues per USDA guidelines to supervisor.
• Complete forklift maintenance and related reports for safety and performance.
• Work 40+ hours per week with mandatory overtime when needed.
