Job summary

Carl Buddig & Company is seeking a General Labor to prepare and package fresh and frozen meat products for shipment, maintaining a safety-minded attitude and contributing to a strong safety culture.

Potential team member will work in a fast-paced environment, read and follow instructions, and adhere to GMPs while lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. 40+ hours weekly with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related work experience preferred.
• GMP and USDA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack fresh and frozen meat products.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to effectively follow work instructions.
• Assist in changeovers as needed.
• Ensure conformance to specifications.
• Able to read and understand written instructions.
• Ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Successfully complete a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
