TVG-Medulla, LLC is seeking a Payroll & HR Ops Specialist to manage multistate payroll processing, HRIS data, benefits administration, and workforce analytics. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting using Paychex and SmartRecruiters.

The ideal candidate will have strong payroll expertise, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to turn workforce data into actionable insights while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing in a high-volume multistate environment.
• Strong payroll expertise and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using an HRIS to maintain, extract, validate, and analyze employee data.
• Experience with Paychex/Paychex Flex and SmartRecruiters is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate biweekly and supplemental payroll across multiple states.
• Audit payroll data, resolve discrepancies, maintain records for hires, terminations and changes.
• Reconcile deductions and respond to employee inquiries; support audits and compliance.
• Maintain and analyze data in Paychex and SmartRecruiters; generate leadership reports.
• Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and leaves of absence.
