Job summary

UF Health seeks a Multispecialty Office Manager to oversee daily operations for Gastrointestinal Surgery/Surgical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, and ENT. You will lead a team, manage clinical and clerical staff, and coordinate with Ambulatory Administrators to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will monitor financial performance, implement process improvements, and uphold regulatory compliance while delivering excellent patient service across multiple subspecialties in the Northeast Florida region.

Qualifications

• 3 years supervisory experience in outpatient setting.
• 3 years operational experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote financial viability by monitoring revenue, expenditures, and resource use.
• Supervise non-provider staff; assign work, coach, schedule, and monitor performance.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and credentialing of staff.
• Develop staffing models to ensure coverage and budget adherence.
• Coach staff to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining accountability.
• Oversee billing, coding, and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Resolve patient and staff issues through effective communication with leadership.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and coordinate goals with practice leadership.
• Maintain personnel records and necessary documentation.
