Qualifications

• Six months MA experience or completion of an externship required.
• Urgent care or specialty clinic experience preferred; phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to maintain positive relationships; EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient care and examinations.
• Take and record vital signs; prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens according to policy.
• Administer medications as directed with seven rights.
• Operate and monitor equipment; assist with procedures; ensure safety and accuracy.
