Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Eligible for AMT, AAMA, NHA, or NAHP certification within 12 months of hire.
• Six months of medical assistant experience or completion of an MA externship.
• Experience in a specialty clinic and phlebotomy is preferred.
• Good communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient examinations, procedures, and care.
• Collect specimens, perform basic lab tasks, and venipuncture as directed.
• Record vital signs and document in the EMR; prepare patients for exams.
• Float to other clinics as needed and maintain safety standards.

Education
