Job summary

Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and service repairs across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and related tasks. The role involves work in occupied and vacant apartments, common areas, and occasional on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities include assisting in inspections, refurbishing apartments prior to occupancy, keeping precise maintenance records, and coordinating with the resident manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in field or related area.
• Formal training or experience in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing and cleaning, air conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Perform light electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits.
• Perform light plumbing work: clearing stoppages, replacing fittings.
• Replace broken glass, tile, screens, disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, locks.
• Paint interior and exterior as needed.
• Carpentry: doors, windows, shelves, floors refinishing.
• Assist in custodial tasks in common areas.
• Perform grounds work and snow removal as necessary.
• Repair concrete, masonry, fencing as required.
• Training subordinates if necessary.
• Assist in apartment inspections and refurbishing prior to occupancy.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, work orders, inventories.
