Job summary

PLK Communities, a owner and manager of residential apartment communities, is seeking a skilled full-time Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's physical integrity for residents, staff, and visitors.

You will perform maintenance needs, prepare apartments for new residents, and complete work orders, with duties spanning carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, HVAC (training available), and grounds care.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or "handyman" experience required.
• Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Tools listed: hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight.
• Able to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance needs.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
